About the event

Forum Assembly: Creating Cooperative Arts Ecosystems

Using techniques of strategic positioning, participants will learn the 5 Cs of creating a flourishing arts ecosystem.  In a time where funding struggles and a social climate that devalues the arts can make arts organizations feel they are working in isolation and competition, let's talk about ways to support each other's work!

About our speaker, Katherine Mayberry. Katherine is an actor, director, teacher, and dramaturg based in West Michigan.  She is the executive director of the Pigeon Creek Shakespeare Company, a touring company that travels all over the state.  She received MLitt and MFA degrees in Shakespeare and Performance from Mary Baldwin University/The American Shakespeare Center.  For the past 12 years, she has taught the Shakespeare major, as well as acting, movement, and script analysis, to middle school and high school students at the Blue Lake Fine Arts Camp.
